Liver cancer is a disease condition in which normal liver cells changes their appearance and behaves abnormally. These cells may become vicious to the nearby normal cells and later spread to the other parts of the liver and body. Cancerous or malignant cells developed by the normal cells of the liver (hepatocytes) are known as hepatocellular carcinoma. A cancer originate from the ducts of the liver is known as cholangio carcinoma.
There are many causes that develop the liver cancer. Liver has a feature to filter the blood coming from all parts of the body, so it is possible that cancer cells are coming from anywhere in the body can stay in the liver and started to grow.
